St. Vladimir Church – Roof Recoat & Restoration (Parma, OH)

St. Vladimir Church, a longstanding parish serving the Parma, Ohio community since 1957, required a durable roof maintenance solution in 2025. West Roofing Systems returned to the site to perform a full roof recoat and restoration.

Introduction

The church had an existing spray foam roof originally installed by West Roofing Systems. After reaching the end of its warranty period, the roof needed a fresh topcoat to restore waterproofing and extend its life another 10–20 years.

Scope of Work

The team power-washed the entire roof surface, inspected and repaired any areas of concern in the existing foam, improved drainage where needed, and applied a new acrylic topcoat system to restore the manufacturer's warranty.

Why Recoat Instead of Replace?

A full tear-off and replacement would have cost significantly more and caused unnecessary disruption to the church's operations. Because the existing spray foam substrate was still in good condition, a recoat was the smart, cost-effective choice.

Results

St. Vladimir Church now has a renewed roof with a new warranty — at a fraction of the cost of replacement — and can continue serving its community for decades to come.
