In 2025, West Roofing Systems installed a silicone roof coating system on the 36,300 square foot metal roof at an ice rink facility in Elyria, Ohio.

Project Overview

The existing metal roof was experiencing leaks and showing signs of wear. Rather than a costly tear-off and replacement, the facility chose a silicone coating restoration system — a seamless, renewable solution that came in well under the cost of a new roof.

Scope of Work

The team cleaned the metal roof surface, treated all rust spots, sealed all fasteners and seams with reinforced fabric and sealant, then applied a full silicone topcoat across the entire 36,300 square feet.
